Through our extensive contacts within many trades and end users we had a call from an old friend who has worked his way up to managerial position at Brighton Palace Pier in a panic for a replacement 37kW screw compressor. A perticular ride on the pier need 2off these units to operate and the 20+ year old ride needed updating.
After getting in touch with our partners at Avelair we had the ideal solution to their problem, the Avelair VSD37 variable spped drive air compressor. After explaining the advantages of this unit it was very clear the savings the entertainment giants could make.
We received the go ahead and Avelair delivered far and beyond to get the machine ready and shipped to the south coast, our installation team at Airlink Compressors met the delivery and unloaded the compressor ready for installation and commissioning. After careful navigation along the pier we had the unit positioned inplace and ready for the install, Airlink Compressors Team set about the mechanical connections whilst the on-site electricians connected the compressor to their supply.
With the machine ready to go we finished around 7.30pm and had the ride operating once more - "That will be a day to remember" was the comment from the head of facilities at Brighton Palace Pier.
